Appositive and Present Participal

*Appositive adalah frasa yang digunakan untuk menjelaskan subject, noun, atau pronoun. Letak appositive  bisa berada di depan, tengah, ataupun belakang. Appositive digunakan untuk menjelaskan kembali atau menambahkan informasi subject, noun, atau pronoun.

#letak-letak appositive:

1. Subject, appositive, verb - disini appositive terletak di tengah. Cth: Harry, a former soldier, has had to drop his official military titles.

2. Appositive, sentence - disini appositive terletak diawal. Cth: we also caught up with other award-brother, Zendaya and John David Washington, Danil Kaluuya, and Olivia Colman.

3. Sentence, Appositive - disini appositive terletak di belakang. Cth: the month of Ramadan, is a time for muslims to dedicate then selves to God and purify their bodies.

* Present Participal merupakan kata kerja berakhiran -ing yang digunakan dalam progressive atau continuous tenses. 

Bentuk Present Participal : VERB 1 + ing. 

Aturan dalam penulisan -ing:

1. Verb berakhiran E : write - writing

2. Verb berakhiran IE : lie - lying

3. Verb berakhiran EE/Huruf vokal : see - seeing
